A. Lange & Sohne pays homage to founding father

The 1815 “200th Anniversary F. A. Lange” is a limited edition of 200 numbered timepieces that pays tribute to Ferdinand Lange, a founding father of the brand who was born 200 years ago. The horological monument is crafted in a 40 millimetre platinum case that houses a black solid-silver dial, reminiscent of the legendary pocket watches created by the skilled watchmaker. A manually wound L051.1 calibre powers the functions of hours, minutes and sub-dial counter where the seconds are displayed. Consisting of 188 parts and 23 jewels, the 1815 “200th Anniversary F. A. Lange” has a power reserve of 55 hours when fully wound.
