Under the Patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, Dubai Watch Week (DWW)– the only regional event dedicated to promoting education and cultural learning within the horological industry – recently announced its major partners for its second edition this year.
Dubai Watch Week, organised by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, will organise the 2016 edition in association with The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) – theSwiss Watch industry’s leading cultural body –and is supported by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, The Dubai Mall, Emirates Airline, the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), and Christie’s.
Dubai Watch Week will take place in two locations this year: the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and The Dubai Mall.
In addition to the Creative Hub, events at the DIFC include an exhibition of watches that won the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève and the Horological Movements exhibition – both running from November 15 to 19; while the Watch Forum and Watchmaking Master Classes will run from November 16 to 19.
The Dubai Mall will host three massive programmes: the HH Academy & Certification, Masters of Time exhibition, and Life of a Swiss Cuckoo Clock exhibition from mid-November to early December 2016.
