Eberhard & Co. create modern vintage timepiece

The masterful Contograf timepiece revives the classical trend of chronographs and is an evolution of the best-seller 1960’s model. The latest model retains the vintage trapezoidal date window, the luminous dauphine hands and the rotating bezel which is now in scratch resistant ceramic. The dial is also essentially the same except that the date window replaces the 6 o’clock hour marker and the numerals on the bezel are bolder and easier to read. The three-minute markers on the minutes counter are also retained to remind us to be grateful for the age of technology which makes long distance calls cheaper and hassle-free. The main difference, however, is the red chronograph seconds hand which matches the date numerals.
