Glashütte Original encourages young talent

Berlin hosted the award ceremony that took place on the 19th of January 2015, prior to the 65th edition of the International Berlin Film Festival (Berlinale). The German watch manufactory Glashütte Original, official co-partner of the Berlinale, and the “Perspektive Deutsches Kino” section awarded the “Made in Germany – Perspektive Fellowship” to a young German filmmaker, Oskar Sulowski, for his submission of “Rosebuds”. The winner received a EUR 15,000 fellowship for the development of a screenplay that is funded by the watch manufacturer to support young talented German directors in implementing their projects, and also a trophy that had been manufactured at Glashütte Original’s watchmaking school.
