Jaeger-LeCoultre awards filmmaker Brian De Palma

Legendary American director, Brian De Palma, received the Venice International Film Festival’s Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker 2015 Award for his exemplary contribution to the contemporary cinema. In conjunction with the 72nd Venice International Film Festival, the awarding took place at the Sala Grande in Palazzo del Cinema on the 9th of September 2015. To further honour the filmmaker, the Festival also presented an out-of-competition documentary titled “De Palma (109’)” by the talented Noah Baumbach and Jake Paltrow. Previous recipients of the prestigious Venice International Film Festival’s Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award were Al Pacino (2011), Spike Lee (2012), Ettore Scola (2013) and James Franco (2014).
