The Oscars not only showcase the best of the world of cinema but are also used by the stars to exhibit their flair for fashion; Montblanc was the brand of choice that ruled the red carpet

American Director Barry Jenkins, who won the Best Movie and Adapted Screenplay Award for “Moonlight”, received his Oscar sporting a Montblanc Star Classique, while American actor Casey Affleck, winner of Best Actor for “Manchester by the Sea”, was seen wearing Montblanc onyx and silver tuxedo studs and cuff links.

Denzel Washington, nominated for Best Actor Award for “Fences”, accessorised his outfit with a Montblanc 4810 Date Automatic and Montblanc Meisterstück cuff links, while Lucas Hedges, American actor nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting role for “Manchester by the Sea”, elected to wear a Montblanc Heritage Spirit Perpetual Calendar.

Swedish director Hannes Holm, nominated for “A Man Called Ove” in the Best Foreign Movie category, was seen exhibiting a Montblanc Heritage watch and cuff links.

Ben Affleck, American actor and presenter at the awards ceremony, showed his love for the brand by sporting a Montblanc Star Roman Small Second “Carpe Diem” Special Edition; paired with Montblanc rose gold and onyx tuxedo studs; and the iconic cufflinks.

American actor Chris Evans, presenter at the 89th Annual Academy Awards, preferred to pair a Montblanc Star Classique with the Montblanc Vasco da Gama cuff links.

English actor Riz Ahmed, presenter at the Oscars, was seen wearing Montblanc rose gold and mother of pearl tuxedo shirt studs paired with blue lacquer cufflinks, while American actor and presenter, Vince Vaughn chose to wear ‘Sartorial’ cuff links, and American actor Jeremy Renner chose a Montblanc 4810 Date Automatic to complement his attire.
