Roger Dubuis introduces Kuwait Limited Edition Excalibur Automatic Skeleton

Geneva-based Manufacture Roger Dubuis and Behbehani Group present a new Kuwait Limited Edition of the Excalibur Automatic Skeleton

Roger Dubuis, the pioneer of contemporary skeleton calibres, has introduced a new star to the marque’s constellation of Excalibur Automatic Skeleton models, designed exclusively for customers of the Behbehani Group in Kuwait.

This follows the success of their first-ever Kuwait Limited Edition Excalibur with malachite dial. The Excalibur Automatic Skeleton is a limited edition of 25 pieces and  features Roger Dubuis’ in-house movement RD820SQ with skeletonised micro-rotor, a demonstration of the Manufacture’s expertise of architectural and technical mechanics. The RD820SQ is stamped with the prestigious Poinçon de Genève.

The Excalibur Automatic Skeleton is housed in a 42MM case made of titanium-coated black DLC and is water-resistant up to 3 BAR (30 m). This exceptional edition has been personalised with the mark of all Roger Dubuis contemporary skeleton movements, with the star-shaped bridge in red colour while the hour indexes are in green.

The black alligator hand-stitched strap is adorned with red stitches, representing the national colours of the Kuwait flag, while the adjustable folding clasp is of black DLC titanium.

The RD820SQ Calibre Automatic Skeleton is a self-winding mechanical calibre that can be finely adjusted in six positions and has 167 components. The movement has a diameter of 16’’, while its thickness is only 6.38 MM and beats at a powerful frequency of 4Hz or 28,800 vph and enjoys a power reserve of 60 hours.
