Ulysse Nardin drops its anchor

The Le Locle-based company, Ulysse Nardin, spent no less than eight years perfecting this mechanism, which is limited to just 18 pieces per model. Available in white or rose gold, the Ulysse Anchor Tourbillon features a constant force escapement that is made entirely of silicium. Powered by a Caliber UN-178 that beats at a steady cadence of 18,000 VpH, the watch boasts a 60-seconds tourbillon, whose cage comprises of 35 components but weighs no more than 0.4 grams and is positioned at 6 o’clock on the pristine white dial. Also featured on the dial is the power reserve indicator that sits in an arc above the tourbillon.
