CLÉ unveils “First in Space” Raketa timepiece honouring Saudi Arabia’s space legacy

CLÉ announced the launch of 1886 x Raketa – “First in Space”, an unprecedented collaboration between historic Russian watch factory Raketa and pioneering Saudi fashion house 1886. This limited-edition collection pays tribute to Saudi Arabia’s remarkable journey in space exploration, blending precision horology with bold, modern design. At the heart of this collaboration is the Raketa Space Launcher watch – featuring a green aventurine stone dial with a 24-hour scale and Eastern Arabic numerals with a central rotating disc showcasing a detailed map of Saudi Arabia – housed in a 43mm stainless steel case with sapphire glass and 20-meter water resistance. The timepiece is powered by an in-house automatic movement (Calibre 2624A) with a 40-hour power reserve and is presented on a white fabric strap with an additional green leather strap. Accompanying the watch is an exclusive pair of space gloves designed by 1886, crafted from materials inspired by authentic space suits. Only 60 numbered box sets have been produced, marking the final release of the Space Launcher model.
