Renowned for his creation of highly unusual timepieces, Frédéric Jouvenot, the CEO of his eponymous Swiss watch manufacture, revisited the iconic timepiece that was named after the Incan sun god: The INTI. Re-launched this year as a limited edition, the INTI is powered by a self-winding movement that features a screw balance, chamfered and polished bridges decorated with Geneva striping, diamond-polished jewel sinks, and a rotor decorated with the depiction of a stepped Incan pyramid. Its distinctive dial presents the twelve Inca pyramids as well as the sunbeams depicted from the centre where the minutes are indicated. With the jumping 24-hour ring, the sunbeams are bright at noon, and turn dark as the evening progresses.
