Montblanc unveils a Chalet at Watches & Wonders

Montblanc introduced the Montblanc Chalet at Watches & Wonders, a booth concept that invited visitors to experience the Maison through an immersive and scenic journey into its distinctive universe of fine craftsmanship and watchmaking

The chalet’s symmetrical compositions, nostalgic colour palette, and vintage aesthetics were inspired by Montblanc’s recent 100 Years of Meisterstück brand campaign film, written and directed by American filmmaker Wes Anderson. The colourful brand film, celebrating the anniversary of Montblanc’s iconic Meisterstück writing instrument, re-introduced the Maison to the world through the award-winning director’s inimitable cinematic storytelling and visual identity.

Upon entering the booth, visitors were welcomed by the façade of the chalet decorated with elements from the brand film such as vintage suitcases and the emblematic Montblanc flag. This was set against the backdrop of a mountain landscape, setting the scene for the adventure ahead and reinforcing Montblanc’s connection to mountain exploration.

The first stop inside the booth was the 0 Oxygen experience, a high-altitude setting where Montblanc’s latest timepieces featuring 0 Oxygen technology took centre stage. Continuing their journey, guests stepped into the Montblanc Chalet, modelled after the fictional Montblanc Observatory from the brand film, which guests could also view inside the chalet. The experience extended to The Library, complete with the brand film’s recognisable wall of books and green-patterned sofa. The journey concluded in the Minerva Room, where Montblanc’s storied watchmaking legacy came to life.
