Chopard exhibits the Porsche 919 Hybrid in Kuwait
Swiss luxury brand Chopard, in partnership with internationally recognised luxury retailer, Trafalgar Company, launched a two-week Porsche Motorsport exhibition in Kuwait
From the 16th to the 29th of December 2015, the illustrious shopping destination, The Avenues Mall, in Kuwait played host to a special exhibition of highly distinguished luxury brand, Chopard. This exceptional presentation showcased the avant-garde Porsche 919 Hybrid that led Porsche Motorsport to win the 2015 WEC World Champion title. Moreover, guests at the high-end mall were able to discover the Chopard Superfast watches that were also on exhibit at the Porsche Motorsport stand for two weeks.
For the second year in a row, Chopard has been proud to be the Official Timing Partner of Porsche Motorsport. In 2014, Chopard became “Official Timing Partner” of Porsche Motorsport for the German racing team’s grand comeback to endurance competition. That same year, to celebrate this exclusive partnership, Chopard launched a new Superfast chronograph inspired by the Porsche 919 Hybrid competing in the World Endurance Championship LMP1 category: The Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Edition.
With its 45 mm-diameter case and flyback function, this imposingly sized chronograph beats to the pace of a mechanical Chopard 03.05-M calibre, chronometer-certified by the COSC. This engine and its oscillating weight may be admired through a sapphire crystal engraved with the inscription “Official Timing Partner Porsche Motorsport”.
The Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Edition from Chopard is produced in a strictly limited 919-piece series reserved for those who are quick off the mark.
