Chopard Ambassador:  Caroline Scheufele announced Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi as the new face of the maison during a prestigious dinner at the Cannes International Film Festival on May 22, 2019. Zhang Ziyi first shot to international fame for her role in Ang Lee’s “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”, her other highly acclaimed films include “Memoirs of a Geisha”, and “Purple Butterfly”. This year, Zhang Ziyi also took on the role of godmother of the Trophée Chopard, an award that is part of the official Festival calendar, and which honours two promising young actors.
