Czapek presents Quai Des Bergues in new size

Czapek has now introduced its seminal Quai Des Bergues in a 40.5 mm steel case, with a newly developed hand-guilloché pattern on the dial. The steel case retains all of the signatures of the Quai Des Bergues case – with a slight refinement of the case-side recesses in order to incorporate the Calibre SXH1 movement – and a subtle change to the slope of the lugs to ensure a perfect fit on the wrist. The dial features a new guilloché pattern named Guilloché ‘Double Soleil’, after the parhelion phenomenon – an optical illusion that appears occasionally as a luminous spot on one or both sides of the sun. Dial choices offered are Deep Blue, Tuxedo Black or ‘Secret Alloy’ – the colour of the precious metal used for the guilloché dial. The manually wound movement, which offers a 7-day power reserve, has also been refreshed by open-working the bridges.
