Dior debuts bejewelled Galons

Composed of 81 original pieces, this haute joaillerie line reinterprets the galons, those sumptuous, decorative ribbons, their delicate scrolls evoking the art of detail so dear to the house of Dior

Victoire de Castellane has written a new chapter in the history of Dior Joaillerie with the Galons Dior collection, celebrating the world of couture and the inventive passion of Christian Dior. The Artistic Director has drawn her inspiration from the refined trimmings that punctuate her previous collections of jewellery, transposing their finesse and couture spirit into each of these new pieces. Thus, ribbons studded with precious stones intersect, intertwine, twirl as if dancing with supreme elegance.

As though snipped by a couturier’s scissors, the pieces are subtly asymmetrical, at once untamed and harmonious, like pieces of fine, exquisitely light, floating fabric. Spontaneous, bold motifs enhance necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings illuminated by the brilliance of diamonds and the vibrant hues of sapphires, rubies or emeralds, cut into a multitude of geometric shapes.

For the first time in an Haute Joaillerie collection, brooches and cufflinks have also been especially designed for men.
