Navy Service Wristwatch reinterpreted as the Alpina KM-710

The Alpina brand, which had the honour of supplying service wristwatches for the German Kriegsmarine, is now paying homage to its history by unveiling new interpretations of its historic wristwatches. The Alpina KM-710, while still drawing on the original for the design basics of the cases, dials and hands, uses Super-LumiNova luminescent material on the dial and hands. The stainless steel case has a contemporary thickness of 41.5 MM and the screwed caseback can withstand 5 bars of water pressure. The watch has an in-house AL-710 automatic calibre, with a 42-hour power reserve.
