OMEGA’s Bond watches provoke bidding battle

James Bond’s OMEGA watches worn by Daniel Craig garnered impressive bids when they recently came under the hammer at Christie’s

Fans of 007 snapped up two OMEGA timepieces worn by Daniel Craig in “No Time To Die” (2021). The watches went under the hammer as part of an official two-part charity sale – Sixty Years of James Bond – presented by EON Productions and Christie’s.

In the live auction, passionate collectors bid on 25 lots, including watches, vehicles, props, and costumes, many of which are related to the 25th Bond film, “No Time To Die”.

Fetching a price of £226,800 was the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition. A stylish military-inspired OMEGA in titanium, with innovative mesh bracelet, designed with input from the actor. Proceeds of the sale will benefit TIME’S UP UK.

An impressive £119,700 secured Bond’s Seamaster Aqua Terra Master Co-Axial in stainless steel, with metallic blue dial, proceeds of which will go to Orbis.

The successful bidders will receive their OMEGAs inside a custom watch box with a certificate signed by James Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, OMEGA President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann, and actor Daniel Craig.

The online sale continued until James Bond Day on October 5, presenting 35 lots spanning the twenty-five films with posters, props, costumes, memorabilia, and experiences.
