SIHH opens “Carré des Horlogers” for independent watchmakers

For the first time, nine independent watchmakers will exhibit at “Carré des Horlogers” that will take place during the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in January 2016

Over the past twenty five years, the world renowned watch fair, SIHH, continues to deliver its extraordinary approach to precious watches and Fine Watchmaking that is distinguished by excellence, and the desire for brands to share this unique world with the leading international retailers.

In its upcoming edition next year, the SIHH unveils the “Carré des Horlogers” (Watchmakers’ Square, in English) that will feature nine outstanding independent watchmakers in addition to its fifteen exhibitors. The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) has invited the independent watchmakers with the goal of further enriching the exceptional creativity and remarkable expertise of watchmakers.

HAUTLENCE is one of the nine independent watchmakers that have been invited to present its presenting its avant-garde collectionsincluding a new exceptional wristwatch designed in collaboration with the brand’s dynamic ambassador, ex-footballer Eric Cantona.

Meanwhile, the invitation has been a magnificent achievement and reward for hard work and creativity, said Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie., another participating brand in the first ever “Carré des Horlogers”.

The other independent watchmakers that will exhibit at the square are Christophe Claret, De Bethune, HYT, Kari Voutilainen, Laurent Ferrier, MB&F and Urwerk. The annual fair will take place from the 18th to the 22nd of January, 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland.
