Tiffany & Co. collaborates with Curtis Kulig Collaboration for Valentine’s Day campaign

Tiffany & Co. has debuted its 2022 Valentine’s Day campaign: a collaboration with Curtis Kulig, the New York-based artist known for his signature “Love Me” mantra. Kulig has created a series of exclusive artworks for Tiffany’s Valentine’s Day campaign that declare messages such as, “Dare Me,” “Know Me” and “Kiss Me,” recontextualising his “Love Me” concept in bold Tiffany Blue typography

The creative partnership, entitled “Blue is the Color of Love,” marks the latest in Tiffany’s long history of working with innovators and revolutionary artists, as well as an homage to the House’s authority in the world of love and commitment. The campaign is a celebration of the power of art, words and love itself.

Artist Curtis Kulig lives and works in New York City. In 2005, his private plea imbued with futility and irony, “Love Me,” became part of the urban fabric of the city. A loyal and global audience ensued, recasting the declaration with optimism and hope. “Love Me” has appeared everywhere from city walls and canvases to neon lights, metal sculptures and in other high-profile collaborations.

“Love Me” has become Kulig’s signature manifesto, an iconic mark that continues to resonate as Kulig searches for new contexts and mediums to transform it. His studio practice consists of paintings, drawings and sculpture often done in series that explore emotional vulnerabilities.

‘Love Me’ was conceived as something very personal to Kulig and it naturally grew into something that others interpret – making it interesting. On collaborating with the maison, Kulig explained that his creative process with Tiffany & Co. was very natural.

For the “Blue is the Color of Love” campaign, Kulig’s artworks for Tiffany & Co. are displayed alongside jewellery collections such as Tiffany HardWear, Tiffany Knot and Tiffany T.
