URWERK AMC system sells for a stunning $2.9 million

Maverick master horologists URWERK announced that the end of 2019 saw the sale of one of the three URWERK AMC systems for a fantastic $2.9 million at a sale in New York. The AMC, consisting of an atomic master clock and a mechanical wristwatch, had earlier won the Prix de l’Audace for the most outstanding unconventional horological exhibit at the 2019 Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie in Geneva.
