BOVET 1822 decorates 19 Thirty Fleurier with “Fleurisanne” engraving

Swiss watchmaker BOVET 1822 has expanded its 19Thirty collection with the launch of four new models featuring a striking new dial decoration: a sumptuous “Fleurisanne” engraving that embraces the hour and minute dial, and the second counter

The timepieces feature sub-dials shaped in the form of an 8 – a signature of the collection and a symbol of good luck and prosperity for the owner. A remarkable 19th century style of hand engraving, Fleurisanne is an art mastered by few craftsmen; it requires the greatest skill and endless hours of concentration. The hand-finishing of all elements of timepieces at BOVET is what the Maison is so revered for, and Fleurisanne is one of the most complex of decorations, adored by collectors.

The 19Thirty is inspired by one of the last pocket watches to be manufactured by BOVET before the wristwatch era. It features a specially developed movement and was presented for the first time in 2015 in steel, soon followed by a red gold version. Both original models are offered in the iconic BOVET Fleurier case with a bow at the 12:00 position, and the more conventional Dimier case with four horns.

The 19Thirty offers impeccable timekeeping, reliability and a seven-day power reserve in the form of a timeless, classic timepiece that can be worn every day – now with the striking “Fleurisanne” finishing that showcases the Maison’s dedication to the decorative arts on another level.

The new engraved versions are available in 42mm red gold and steel cases, currently only in the Fleurier case shape.
