Horological classics from Breguet

Breguet Classique Watches

The House of Breguet founded in 1775 is the epitome of excellence in watchmaking. Its creations have graced the wrists of some of the greatest figures in history. The famous Breguet archives house the details of every watch sold since the end of the eighteenth century. A token of authenticity, the secret brand signature has remained a feature of most Breguet dials down to the present

Breguet Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Squelette 5395

The timepiece features an extra-thin 3-mm skeleton for its tourbillon movement. The rotor is placed on the periphery of the plate, and the titanium carriage engages directly with the wheel train. The silicon escapement has a distinct angled shape, saving on space. The sapphire dial features hour markers in blued gold. Water-resistant to 30 meters, the watch is available with a grey movement in a rose gold case, or with a rose movement in a platinum case.

Breguet Classique 5177

The new Breguet Classique 5177 presents the Breguet blue in a grand feu enamel, in a slim white gold case with fluted sides. Powered by the self-winding 777Q mechanical calibre, the watch sports a central second hand and the date at 3 o’clock. Characteristic of a self-winding movement, the rotor in engine-turned 18-karat gold appears through the sapphire-crystal caseback. An individual number engraved on the back of each watch marks it unique.

Breguet Classique 9068

The dial of this model comes alive with white mother-of-pearl on a fine rose or white gold case with fluted sides, and a fluted crown – capped with a blue cabochon-cut sapphire or a ruby. The gold of the bezel and lugs feature 88 brilliant-cut diamonds. The model beats to the rhythm of a self-winding manufacture 591A calibre, with the second hand in the centre and the date window at 3 o’clock.

Breguet Marine Chronographe 5527

From case to bracelet, the Breguet Marine Chronographe 5527 features a titanium design, housing a 582QA calibre. Breguet pairs the titanium with a sunburst slate-grey dial in gold, with several details inspired by the seafaring world. The second hand counterweight bears the maritime signal flag corresponding to Breguet’s initial. The open tips of the hands and the five-minute markings above the polished Roman numerals are coated with a luminescent material.

Marine Dame 9518 in Diamond-Set Steel

This watch houses the self-winding 591A calibre, a manufacture movement 3.41 millimetres thick with a date display. The steel bezel is ringed by 60 brilliant-cut diamonds, while the dial is an ocean-blue lacquer with light reflections. To achieve this, the artisan applies a clear lacquer on the still-liquid azure material. When they come into contact, the colours marbleize and create a unique image, thus rendering each piece exclusive.

Reine de Naples 8918

An elongated white gold oval case, illuminated by mother-of-pearl and diamonds, houses the self-winding manufacture calibre 537/3 with a 45-hour power reserve. Arabic numerals appear in garnet on the white mother-of-pearl hours chapter; a cabochon-cut ruby on the crown and the alligator leather strap reflect this vibrant hue. A ribbon of 117 brilliant-cut diamonds highlights the white-gold bezel and dial flange; a pear-shaped diamond marks 6 o’clock. The folding buckle is illuminated by 26 diamonds.
